Travelling to Salisbury High School by Public Transport

The blue lines show buses which operate direct to the school, whilst the green lines show buses which run to Salisbury City Centre or Wilton, from where local buses run to Bemerton Heath every 10 minutes.

Bus Routes to Salisbury high School

Salisbury / Bristol / Bath buses also operate to Salisbury from Shaftesbury, Berwick St John, Ludwell, Tisbury, Swallowcliffe and Fovant. However, the times of the buses in the afternoon may not be suitable for normal fisnihsing times at Salisbury High School. Trains also operate to Salisbury from Bradforn on Avon, Trowbridge, Westbury, Warminster and Yeovil.

If you are under the age of 19 and live in one of the towns and villages marked and wish to study at Salisbury High School, you may be eligible for a 16-19 bus pass through Wiltshire County Council. This pass offers a considerable saving over most normal bus fares, please see Wiltshire Post-16 Student Transport Scheme page for more information.

Students who live in towns & villages marked may also be eligible for a pass if they live more than 3 miles from the school (please ring 01225 713396 to check).

If you are under the age of 19 and live in one of the towns and villages marked and wish to study at Salisbury High School, you may be eligible for a 16-19 bus pass through Wiltshire County Council which will take you as far as Salisbury City Centre only. This pass offers a considerable saving over most normal bus fares but you will be expected to pay your own bus fare to travel between the City Centre and Salisbury High School.
